Advertising Account Executive, Recruitment

Are you a highly motivated, result driven account management and sales professional looking for your next opportunity? My client, the world’s largest scientific membership association, is looking to hire a confident and persuasive recruitment Advertising Account Executive (AE) to support their job website. He/she should be a self-starter who listens to clients and develops programs based on their needs. He/she should be able to demonstrate significant initiative in researching and closing new business as well as following up to upsell current clients. Organized and analytical, the AE should be able to forecast well and be highly accountable to quota.

Responsibilities include:
• Researching and contacting the largest current and potential clients to sell and upsell recruitment and recruitment-branding advertising programs (phone, email, personal contact)
• Preparing and delivering sales presentations to new and existing clients that educate on how specific types of advertising—print, online, events, employer branding--will help promote their company in the most effective way possible
• Providing clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services and be prepared to negotiate
• Working with manager to build sales pipeline and meet annual sales goals and targets in order to maximize revenue growth
• Working with marketing team to develop sales tools
• Processing all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts
• Keeping up to date on industry and competitive trends and be the recruitment expert

Experience:
• College degree and five years of successful proven experience selling both print and online recruitment advertising in large integrated programs as well as smaller one-off programs.
• Strong multi-tasking skills, the ability to work with multiple systems and be detailed oriented.
• Ability to use SalesForce.com or compatible CRM strategically and tactically
• Ability to use/or desire to learn competitive ad tracking for proactive sales
• Working knowledge of powerpoint and excel
• Experience in scientific recruitment advertising sales highly preferred
• Ideal candidate must be self motivated with a strong desire to succeed and be comfortable handling inbound or making 75-100 calls per week
