Adobe Illustrator Guru Needed (Screenshot Designer)

We are looking for an energetic Illustrator guru to join our studio as a production designer to help with reactionary assistance projects in our studio. This position will support our studio directors, art directors, and designers to help complete short notice fire drill projects in a fast paced design agency style of brand studio.
Candidate Responsibilities
Day to Day:
- Customize Illustrator files with marketing content
- Take flat PNG files and recreate in Illustrator with exacting accuracy to detail
- Leverage the content provided by engineering and marketing (they determine the look/feel) and swap assets and/or content in Illustrator.
- Convert or fix corrupted Illustrator files
- Work closely with the Producers to assist with the production of marketing asset creation.
- Assistance with asset approvals across both internal and external groups by fully understanding the Brand Guidelines
- Take initial direction from Creative Director, Art Director, team designers and producers for short notice reactive design tasks.
- Complete projects with little guidance after initial direction via organizational and time management skills.
- Assist with localization of screenshot assets across top Windows markets. Requires being able to work with time zone differences and deciphering language barriers. Designer must be really good at organizing time/workload as localization requires a lot of patience and attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements
- 2 years Production/ePro design experience designing and editing print/video creative materials or related industry experiences; preferably on an agile team in a fast-paced reactive development environment.
- Advanced Illustrator skills with ability to convert files to Illustrator, fix/troubleshoot corrupted Illustrator files.
- Design with absolute pixel perfection and attention to detail.
- Prior experience staying organized with multiple version changes strongly preferred.
- Ability to design in PowerPoint is a nice to have but not required
- Detailed oriented design skills with clear, concise, and specific follow through on all action items resulting from meetings and/or directions from the studio producers, creative directors, and art directors.
- Understand the basics of creative design and take direction well. This position is role that involves assisting other designers by picking up small reactive and review projects with guidance from producers and designers.
- Must be able to demonstrate the ability to quickly come up to speed with new projects is an absolute must with the ability to not get flustered with short notice project completion requests.
- Ability to identify and understand the basics of design and be able to spot poor letter/line spacing and color values. Must be able to detect differences in colors, know when to use RBG vs CMYK color values, and assure that brand colors are being used at all times.
- The ability to balance multiple projects with short deadlines is a must. Therefore strong interpersonal communication and cross-team collaboration skills with the proven ability to work with, and build win-win relationships with, creative teams (e.g. graphic and video production artists), technical people (e.g. developers), and producers alike. When conflicts occur, you provide quick examples to support questions without delaying project timelines.
- A high level of enthusiasm, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness and drive for results in a fast-paced competitive space. Must have a positive and team-oriented attitude as we all contribute to the quality of our work.
