Adobe CQ Lead

Our client, a well-known company in the D.C. Metro area, is looking for an Adobe CQ Developer to join their Marketing and Communications department. This person will be gathering requirements from clients to create end-to-end specifications for content and collaboration solutions. They will also be developing and testing the Adobe CQ components in lower-tier environments, designing and implementing components, templates and workflows for the Adobe AEM platform, and supporting the migration of Adobe CQ components to production environment.

Responsibilities:
• Participate in quality assurance and UAT testing and monitoring automated tools to improve and maintain quality standards.
• Supports CMS publishing tools in conjunction with IT teams.
• Adopt and utilize iterative/Agile methodology as needed or requested
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Overall at least 4 years’ experience with 2-3 years working with web content management systems, including one or more CMS packages such as Adobe AEM/CQ (version 5.6+)
• Adobe CQ Developer Certification is a strong plus
• Proficient in Adobe CQ/AEM foundational concepts, including the CRX repository, the CQ platform, the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix
• Solid understanding of all Adobe CQ building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the CQ development and deployment process
• Demonstrated ability to develop websites that work across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Experience with source control management tool
• Familiarity with Agile development
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
