Administrative Assistant/Technical Analyst

Additional Job Details: 8 AM to 5PM or 7AM to 4PM - Monday - Friday. No weekend, overtime or on-call

Seeking an individual to provide administrative support to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This temporary position is located in Mclean, Virginia.

The qualified applicant becomes part of a 12-year program that maintains a medical terminology used globally by health authorities and the biopharmaceutical industry.

MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) is a medical terminology used to classify adverse event information associated with the use of biopharmaceuticals and other medical products (e.g., medical devices and vaccines). The MSSO (Maintenance and Support Services Organization) serves as the repository, maintainer, and distributor of MedDRA as well as the source for up-to-date information regarding MedDRA.

Roles and Responsibilities:
-Tracking and managing change request workflow
-Assigning incoming changes for medical review
-Ensuing medical personnel have reviewed and commented on changes
-Scheduling discussion meetings
-Keep workflow tasks on a specific schedule to meet metric goals for responsiveness to customers.
-Proofing implemented changes for spelling, grammar and consistency
-Maintain electronic copies of change requests artifacts for quality assurance review
-Proofing user guides for grammar, punctuation, spelling and formatting.
-Formatting non-English user guides to ensure format consistency with English user guide counterparts.
-Monitoring, responding and referring messages sent to the change request e-mail account

Providing assistance to the finance team with respect to:
-Processing invoice and subscription related information
-Sending out subscription renewal notices, invoices, and responding to inquires related to these notices and invoices.
