Ad Operations Manager

Agency has an immediate need for an Ad Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations for display advertising and provide leadership to the ad operations function. Will oversee the creation and day-to-day management of digital advertising campaigns including implementation of creative, tagging, reporting and troubleshooting. Must have the ability to approach and solve a myriad of simple to complex problems throughout the day, demonstrating quick and independent thinking while working closely with the planning, production, creative and analytics teams.

Responsibilities: >
• Manage and provide leadership to ad operations team; serve as main point of contact for all Ops related inquiries
• Traffic digital advertising campaigns, track performance, and make strategic optimizations
• Implement, monitor, and analyze multi-variable tests within campaign hierarchy
• Manage relationships and negotiate contracts with strategic ad networks and partners
• Monitor ad quality and troubleshoot various ad issues
• Build and maintain close and effective working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure they have up-to-date information and the Ops support needed
• Work closely with development team to launch new campaigns and initiatives
• Work with trafficking team to troubleshoot any technical issues and manage to timely resolution
• Provide detailed reporting and analysis reports
• Work closely with vendors and clients to execute program details
• Manage reconciliation of billing and work with finance to resolve billing inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure campaigns start on time, with minimal errors
• Troubleshoot under delivery issues, minimizing under delivery of campaigns

Knowledge & Skills:
• Effective communication and supervision skills
• Strong organizational and time management with ability to manage multiple projects and people effectively and simultaneously
• Ability to execute testing processes and analyze results
• Deep understanding of the online advertising ecosystem, including the programmatic space
• High proficiency with third party ad serving technologies (DoubleClick)
• Familiarity with developer tools; Web Design experience a plus

Qualifications:
• BA in Advertising, Communications, Marketing or Finance
• 5+ years progressive ad trafficking experience with publisher and other advertising experience preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors and agency team members
• Self-motivated approach to anticipating and resolving issues
• High proficiency in MS Office; expert Excel skills
• Ability to effectively operate and manage within a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment
• Strong attention to detail with proactive problem-solving abilities
• Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities
