Are you a copywriter with high-level strategic thinking and who has significant, hands-on experience writing marketing and advertising copy? If you're ready to put those skills to work in a fun, challenging and highly collaborative environment, we'd love to have you on our team!

We're seeking a writer who can successfully handle both conceptual and nuts-and-bolts work, writing for diverse channels including www, mobile, SEM, social, etc. You must be able to think strategically about a problem and also craft effective and persuasive marketing copy with a minimum of direction.

Works directly and collaboratively with members of the creative team and business partners to develop and produce effective communications
Demonstrates expert knowledge of advertising and marketing trends and translates business intent into creative strategies and executions that market products effectively
Demonstrates understanding of intended audience; interprets market research and test results and can use findings to focus targeted marketing messages
Facilitates brainstorm sessions; recognizes ideas that should go forward
Writes, concise, informative and engaging copy and persuasively communicates creative ideas and rationale
Monitors projects to ensure creative intent is not diluted.
Brings processes, technology or people solutions to the table with regard the design or print process. Proven ability to coach and challenge design team to improve the effectiveness of creative
Have strong presentation skills, able to communicate both tactically and strategically with the ability to clearly articulate creative rationale and communicate it to others for buy-in.
Positive outlook and attitude - someone who naturally builds good rapport with team members.
Strong integrated thinking skills.
Able to consistently deliver quality work on time.

4-year degree specializing in communications, creative writing, advertising, journalism or similar discipline.
4+ years writing experience (financial services experience preferred)
Web, mobile and social experience required

Web experience with direct response experience a must. Portfolio demonstrates a variety of experience with national advertising or marketing campaigns. Demonstrates industry and conceptual diversity. Evidence of thinking outside the box while achieving business goals.

Technical Knowledge:
Experience with the Mac Platform
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
