Ad Agency Account Executive

Our design-focused agency client is looking for an Account Executive that will take on an assigned group of clients and manage their projects from inception to completion. We are looking for a passionate, service oriented, highly motivated organizer to manage several concurrent accounts / projects. The individual in this role should be capable of balancing multiple priorities on time, within budget while exceeding client expectations. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase agency revenue. They will be required to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish client / project goals while ensuring that our services consistently meet client needs. The Account Executive will work closely with the entire staff and report directly to the Account Director, as well as to the partners of the agency. Essential Job Functions: - Manage day-to-day project execution through creative and production - Act as the primary liaison between client and creative team - Create and manage project plans and schedules for assigned clients - Develop internal briefing documents for assigned accounts / projects - Build and maintain professional relationships with clients - Facilitate client discussion to define project goals and provide a roadmap to accomplish set goals - Assist in gathering the client’s perspective on key measures of success - Participate in the creative development of projects - Assist with tactical activities and planning on assigned accounts / projects - Review all creative / production material at every stage of development - Attend all status meetings and act as client contact on daily management of projects and correspondence - Continually report on project status to ensure the project strategy and goals are met - Monitor and communicate potential project conflicts (timelines, objectives, scope etc.) and offer solutions for adjustments to resolve issues satisfactorily and on a timely basis while ensuring that other studio projects are not adversely affected - Implement streamlined workflow so projects cost effectively meet set objectives, are completed on or before deadline and maintain high quality standard of GS work - Ensure all client requests are met in a timely and service oriented manner - Responsible for agency and client budget management based on SOW, project estimates and agency profit goals - Work with appropriate staff to source, bid and coordinate printing, shipping, and fulfillment of project deliverables - Maintain project documentation including briefs, schedules/timelines, reference material, specifications, budgets, purchase orders and other contractual requirements using GS project management systems - Ensure all project related materials are properly archived upon completion of a project Experience / Qualifications - Relevant degree in advertising and / or marketing - 3 to 5 years account service experience in a design shop or agency - Familiarity with concepts, practices and procedures of brand, design, marketing and advertising fields - Confidence in providing recommendations and solutions to clients - Impeccable written and verbal communication skills - Ability to prioritize tasks while appropriately managing client expectations - Good interpersonal skills with clients and co-workers
