MARY

The Account Manager (AM) manages relationships with many customer accounts and is responsible for the management of sponsorship and standard online media campaigns for these customers. This position will manage efforts across functional areas within the organization such as Sales, Marketing, Inventory Management, Site Production, and various technical teams to ensure that advertising customers have comprehensive support and service from sales through the execution of the media buy. The AM understands customer advertising priorities and strategies and cultivates and maintains successful relationships at the agency and client level.



RESPONSIBILITIES

Pre-Sale

· Partners with Sales to translate approved sales strategies into sales programs for assigned accounts

· Understands client or agency business goals and makes recommendations for media placements in response to RFPs and revisions requests

· Utilizes Sales Force to request approvals for Advertisers, Surveys, credit overrides

· Completes data entry for rich media placements and specs into vendor systems

Post-Sale

· Manages the post-sale client relationship and process; sets and manages campaign execution

· General campaign management including but not limited to: Revision/Optimizations, Billing reconciliation, adding new line items securing inventory, adjusting delivery settings and changing start/end dates

· Partners with Ad Sales Marketing team to provide input for custom reports, report packaging and campaign wrap up decks

· Provides screenshots to accounts as required

· Requests, trafficks, and tests creative assets and ensures that assigned advertisements are executed as agreed

· Engages Technical Production team as required

· Manages the approvals needed for advertising placements from a variety of different internal and external stakeholders

· Leads calls with internal Sales, Site Production, and Marketing groups and external clients to manage the production and execution of custom sponsorship campaigns

· Creates meeting agendas, sends recap with clearly defined schedules, deliverables and deadlines

· Monitors and troubleshoots ad production and delivery to ensure campaign expectations are met

· Develops optimization plans for underperforming line items

· Creates reports and analyzes advertising campaign performance data (from internal Dashboards, Ad System, 3rd Parties, web analytics and business intelligence tools) and distributes to internal stakeholders and clients

· Makes recommendations for optimizations



QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree required
2-3 years of Account Management experience, preferably in an online advertising organization
Experience with DoubeClick (DSM/DFP) required
Experience working with a client-facing Sales organization
General knowledge of ad serving systems and capabilitiesExperience using an online advertising system, or comparable system desirable

Effective project management skills with proven ability to work with various groups to reach a common goal
Able to look at data and provide insight related to revenue recognition
