Activation Events Producer-Video Platform

Our Client, a global video platform is recruiting for the Event Strategist, that will be responsible for overseeing 5-6 space activations across Europe (roughly 2-3/quarter) - providing a consistent experience with other global Pop-ups spaces. This will include production, education and community activities.

This job is perfect for someone with creative vision who has been looking to take on a unique and exciting challenge. This person will have a keen eye for detail, be results driven and an out of the box thinker. It is also imperative this person enjoys the challenge of managing a complex calendar with demands from many. The candidate will be based in London and have extensive knowledge of, and contacts in, the EMEA region entertainment communities (producers, industry experts, trainers)

You will work closely with an internal team and a network of vendors while directly liaising with event space based colleagues. You will regularly liaise with your regional counterparts to share best practices and ideate on new concepts and approaches that can be tested in markets.
Analysis and reporting are critical aspects of this role, ensuring the platform business as a whole benefits from the knowledge and insights gained in market. There will be 20% time travel required.


Responsibilities:

Build a platform community that has a distinctive identity, is regarded in the market as one of the key events in the city for creative people, and supercharges collaboration and channel-building by those creatives.
Maintain the consistent creative vision and execution of Pop-ups globally by identifying appropropriate production partners in markets, managing vendors and a xfn support team and leveraging existing relationships with production equipment manufacturers.
Experiment and test new content strategies and program approaches that can be rolled out to the network of permanent Spaces.
Develop deeper knowledge of the market in terms of key contacts, production resources and challenges/opportunities for the platform
Responsible for operating budget, success metrics, reporting, implementation of the platform software (Orca & Hubble) and coordination with other platform groups.

Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree. In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience.
- Five years production related experience
- Ability to manage multiple activations across markets at various stages of development
- Experience working across multiple EMEA markets in event and/or project management
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to synthesize many points of view and conflicting information quickly and pivot with new learnings.
- Highly detail-oriented with both a quantitative and qualitative outlook yet at the same time an ability to step back and get the big picture.
- Knowledge of industry preferred.
- Familiarity or experience with video channels
- English fluency required. Intermediate Spanish or Russian a bonus
