Acquisitions Marketer

Our client, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, is looking for an Acquisitions Marketing consultant for a long-term contract opportunity.

As an Acquisitions Marketer you will manage marketing mix concepts of brand positioning, brand architecture, and customer segmentation and to develop marketing strategies to drive brand equity, revenue and profitability for the marketing team. Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing strategies to marketing tactics is needed! The ideal candidate will have extensive digital marketing experience. The role is supporting a B2B marketing team who focuses on selling software to the legal industry to corporate counsel but who also targets law firms as influencers.

Accountabilities:
- Manager of marketing plan development, including marketing research.
- Develop and execute marketing tactics
- Alignment with the Marketing function area needs (PR, events, web)
- Review/recommendations of marketing effectiveness versus objectives
- Achieving revenue goals and managing to approved budgets
- Tracking and reporting of results
- Clear communication of plans and alignment to internal and external stakeholders, and persuading others to support ideas.

Qualifications:
- Knows and applies basic marketing mix concepts (brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, marketing objectives/strategies, customer segmentation).
- Knows procedures and marketing mix elements that drive increase in volume and brand equity.
- Knows and applies basic marketing strategies.
- Knows basic sales management concepts (sell-in process, benefits/features products, channels, training).
- Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure work is completed efficiently in light of strategies and destination of department and organization. Strong project management skills.
- Conveys information and ideas in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicits input from the audience during the communication.
- Understands complexities and interdependencies of information and events to develop more effective solutions and ideas.
- Generates alliances internally and externally by continuously identifying and acting on those things that will create success for company and its customers, suppliers, community.
- Develops and uses collaboration for purpose of accomplishing work objectives; develops relationships with other individuals by listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating other’s efforts and point of views.
- Persuades others to support or agree with an idea, issue or position.

• This is an 6 month, full-time, W-2 contract position located in New Providence, NJ
• This position is not eligible for telecommute or offsite work
