Responsibilities
As part of the national Acquisition and B2B marketing team, this position helps define and lead the overall B2B Acquisition strategy for Verizon Wireless. In practice, this means working cross-functionally and in partnership with the area prospect marketing teams and additional internal organizations with the ultimate goal of driving revenue, customer growth, and incremental lift on customer-facing campaigns.

This role will help develop and execute the strategic plan for all segments and define and execute necessary customer-facing targeted marketing campaigns, as well as support ad-hoc requests from area teams utilizing outbound, email, direct mail and SMS vehicles.

In addition, this position has responsibility for the following activites:

B2B Acquisition Campaign Strategy
• B2B landscape, align strategy with business objectives
• Identify segment opportunities, develop strategies, value proposition, product positioning and marketing programs to differentiate Verizon Wireless from the competition driving revenue growth
• Understand the entire prospect journey and specific customer needs within each segment to improve lead nurturing tactics and drive conversion
• Develop a deep understanding of key business drivers such as Pricing, Product/Customer Experience, Distribution/Channels, Promotions and Positioning
• Long term calendar, campaign strategy
• Presentations to area teams and leadership

B2B Acquisition Processes, Creative Development & Execution
• Drive, maintain, improve, enhance current processes to improve and make current process more efficient
• Agency management
• Project management
• Budget management
• Calendar maintenance
• Creative development
• Campaign execution

B2B Data Management
• Ensures data requests are being met on time with 100% accuracy from internal database support team
• Drives for best-in-class list purchases from external sources, opportunities to develop and enterprise data warehouse for data licensing, and ways to strategically target and model data for highest return on investment/ greatest incremental lift
• Long term database evolution

IT System & Process Management
• Partners with necessary internal subject matter experts and with IT on short term and long term B2B system enhancements that benefit the needs and evolution of a robust acquisition program
• Provides system requirements for B2B segment from a prospect/lead nurture perspective
• Acts as subject matter expert for B2B needs within Salesforce.com platform

Qualifications
o 5+ years Acquisition / direct marketing experience
o 5+ years project and/or product management experience
o 5+ years experience managing direct marketing projects (client or agency side)
o Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior management
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
o Good analysis, reporting and technical skills required
o Demonstrated experience reporting financial impacts of large scale initiatives
o Proven success working in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
o Education: Bachelor degree
