Acquisition Marketing Manager - Broadcast

A large broadcaster based in West London is looking for an Acquisition Marketing Manager to join the on demand Marketing team for a 3 month rolling contract.

The purpose of these roles is to plan and deliver communications for acquisition in order to generate new customers across the client’s portfolio of products.

The successful candidate will:

• Quarterly campaign planning and optimisation: You will be responsible for making sure we’re ahead of the game with our in-quarter campaign planning and delivery.

• You will take the lead in ensuring campaigns are well executed, tested, measured and optimised

• Working with the Trading & Finance teams, you will hold the purse strings to the acquisition creative budget

• Working closely with the Trading and E-commerce teams you will be responsible for delivering agreed campaign KPIs, managing creative optimisation

• You will establish a reporting structure and output with the agencies

• You will work with the wider teams to coordinate campaign communications with the wider business teams including Operations, Customer Engagement, Finance, Customer Marketing and Brand.

• You will work with strategy and insight teams to analyse results data and research insights

• You will manage a team to deliver first class direct response creative across a range of channels


• As a team leader you will manage two Marketing Executives so you will be able to monitor and motivate them, developing their skills and assisting them with identified areas of growth.


To be successful in this role you must be able to work in a fast moving, start-up environment. You should be a self-starter with a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills and ability to engage with key stakeholders. You should have good attention to detail, be creative and yet results driven, take ownership of your work and refuse to settle for second best.

You should:

• Have at least 4+ years of experience in marketing across multiple disciplines, with an undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in the media or entertainment industry and ideally have a professional marketing qualification e.g. CIM
• Have experience planning, executing and optimising for acquisition/sales across a mix of media channels
• Have experience in briefing and evaluating creative, generating and challenging ideas as well as motivating others with your feedback
• Be comfortable with regularly meeting the challenges of tight deadlines and juggling multiple projects
• Take responsibility and initiative for actions, projects and timelines
• Be able to lead a team, influence others and manage agencies
