Acquisition Marketing Manager for Consumer Services team
Reports into the Head of Marketing Channels
Based in Central London
Salary Up to £55K plus fantastic benefits

The Role:
The position of Marketing Manager will have accountability for the following three marketing channels: email, display and above the line. You will be responsible for managing a team of three channel managers to deliver against the acquisition strategy and ensure they continue to drive new customer growth and improve positive customer experience for the Consumer Services team.

The Customer Acquisition team is responsible for delivering over 1.5 million new Credit Expert customers per year through various channels.
You will need to be able to influence at a senior level and manage a number of cross functional stakeholders (i.e. UX, Brand, Analytics Experts and Compliance), who you will consult with and rely on to provide the services to achieve you and your team’s outcomes.
You will have proven digital/online marketing experience with specific demonstrable experience in channel marketing – email, online display and above the line. Naturally you will be exceptionally creative with unrivalled attention to detail – and you will ensure that everything we do online is at the very forefront of innovation and digital excellence.

The position will report into the Head of Marketing Channels working within the overall Customer Service Team, Sales & Marketing Teams - in delivering new customers, revenue growth and increased consumer awareness of the brand(s).

Key Responsibilities:
• Leading the email channels (Acquisition, re-targeting and re-marketing to lapsed customers)
• More holistic management of the media mix, building and delivery of the marketing strategy
• Leading the online and offline creative production, including TV
• Forecasting, planning and managing multi-channel campaigns which meet sales and brand metrics efficiently to maintain CPA and other KPIs: - Online Display - CPA, CPM, and editorial led activity
• Above The line – TV (Digital and Terrestrial), Radio, Out of Home and Sponsorship
• Budget responsibility of £12 million per year
• Work closely with leading media buying and creative agencies and media partners such as Google to implement engaging and relevant campaigns that work to a segmented target audience
• Understanding and advocating the value of activity through insight from attribution modelling, specific campaign analysis (e.g. sales uplift vs. control) and customer/brand research
• Improving conversion by creating campaign bespoke and optimised customer journeys - Understanding the overall media mix, e.g. how TV activity can create efficiencies within PPC campaigns
• Management of a portfolio of direct media partnerships
• Securing ‘added value’ and preferential rates from media partners through building strong relationships
• Being part of the project team which secured and delivered prime time TV sponsorship

The Person:
• Extensive digital/online marketing experience with specific demonstrable experience in successful online display, above the line and email.
• Proven experience in personal management – developing, retaining and training employees
• Proven ability to understand, articulate and respond to changing internal and external digital needs environments
• Be passionate about online and digital
