Account/Traffic/Project Manager- based onsite in Long Island City

Must have strong Account Management/Project management experience in an Advertising agency or Corporate setting!!

Principal Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Account Managers to help coordinate day-to-day production details of their internal client’s marketing/advertising communications and material needs for various products and services.
• Function as primary liaison between client and creative team.
• Coordinate the creative team's work for large accounts, and assist Account Managers by managing the creative team's work on smaller components of identified campaigns.
• Proactively manage client communications; coordinate development of clear communications of all project related information.
• Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure the team is delivering on its requirements.
• Help Account Managers ensure customer satisfaction by meeting clients’ business unit objectives on time and within budget.
• Work in team environment with frequent interaction with Account Managers’ clients and senior management.
• Partner with design team leads for select clients to ensure that creative solutions align with business objectives and visual identity standards, including insurance firm's brand positioning, departmental practices, policies and workflow processes.

Key Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• Superb project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize according to business imperatives, and resource demands.
• Ability to analyze complex situations and prioritize competing needs while focusing on organizational goals and deliverables.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Detail oriented and highly organized with ability to maintain accurate records.
• Experience with multi-faceted campaign management (print/web/video).
• Financial Services and/or Insurance industry experience (Insurance industry experience a plus).
• Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), Workamajig project management, Microsoft Project a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive productive relationships with clients, internal management and vendor partners.
• With select clients - Provide support to Creative directors in translating the client's strategy into effective designs, and balancing the creative expression with their goals (budgets and timelines).

Education/Experience

• 3-5 years experience in Account/Project Management with agency, design or Corporate in-house group.
• International or in-language print/video experience
• College degree (BA or BS) in Marketing, Business, Design or related field a plus.
