Vitamin T's client is looking for an Account Supervisor to join their team in a temp-to-perm role!

**The candidate MUST have: ad agency experience AND pharm or healthcare experience!!


An Account Supervisor (AS) is responsible for the management of assigned business including an understanding of the brand and its market, implementation of the brand plan and management of the agency team on a daily basis. In addition, the AS maintains regular and frequent contact with client brand managers including leading weekly status calls with client.


· Develop and implement marketing communications strategy, plans and programs that support day-to-day account activity and long-term business objectives

· Participates in the promotional planning process and manages daily execution of approved promotional plans

· Assumes lead role in the presentation of agency work at the brand level

· Manages agency brand team to perform at most effective and responsive level

· Possess a clear understanding of pharmaceutical marketing, including familiarity with marketing and tactical plans

· Stay abreast of regulations that govern the pharmaceutical marketing space and impact the client’s medical/legal/regulatory review process

· Build and maintain strong client relationships

· Maintains client contact on a daily basis with the brand managers and has an understanding of client culture and structure

· Ensures that strategies are pulled through to the tactical level and delivered at the highest level of quality

· Demonstrates strong understanding of the brand, ensuring the creative team produces high quality work that’s on strategy

· Designs and implements account management structure to meet client and agency needs

· Supervise team; demonstrate strong leadership, provide direction and professional development

· Mentors Assistant Account Executive, Account Executive, Senior Account Executive as appropriate


· Effective organizational skills

· Strong communications skills

· Demonstrate ability to manage business efficiently and effectively

· Ability to understand and interpret clinical data

· Understanding of major market healthcare issues/restrictions

· Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated managerial ability

· Strong analytical/strategic skills and above average interpersonal skills


· Education: Bachelor’s Degree

· Experience: Four to six years industry-related (pharmaceutical/healthcare advertising preferred) experience


· Demonstrate ability to problem solve efficiently and creatively

· Exemplify thorough understanding of client business

· Exhibit leadership qualities and strategic thinking

· Successfully manage account finances
