Account Supervisor

WE are helping one of our full-service marketing agencies in Richmond look for a skilled Account Supervisor as they are growing FAST!  This position would require someone with amazing customer service skills and an understanding of digital marketing. Other responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to: 

  • Partner with Account Director to help lead client marketing strategy and oversee daily project management and activities
  • Act as contact to client, continually fostering client-agency relationship based on trust and become a valuable resource of sound counsel, creative problem solving, idea generation, and flawless execution
  • Become an expert in client’s brand and business, having a strong knowledge of their products, customers, and competitors
  • Act as agency and client ambassador internally and externally
  • Ensure regular contact with client is conducted proficiently and professionally
  • Share knowledge, insights and analysis of industry-related news, trends, and competitive landscapes
  • Lead meetings, calls, and brainstorm sessions based on strategy
  • Present agency ideas and work to clients with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity
  • Manage flawless execution of clients’ programs, plan tactics and follow-through
  • Manage production/execution schedules
  • Oversee post-program evaluation
  • Manage account financials including budget allocation/ control, time sheets, client billing, supplier invoicing and purchase orders
  • Prioritize all account activities to achieve optimum efficiency
  • Demonstrate effective day-to-day leadership in terms of direction, opportunity identification and guidance
  • Work to develop her/his team to perfect their leadership, ideation, presentation and execution skills
  • Motivate team members by promptly reviewing work and providing constructive feedback
  • Manage and support productive, collaborative partnerships with agency partners
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner
  • Tactfully and professionally advise others on implications (and potential recommendations) regarding project changes or failure to hit deadlines

This is a contract-hire opporutnity which meas that after 3-6 months of contracting full-time you would be eligible to be hired on full-time by the organization. This is a team-based, business casual environment where the tam works hard and plays hard to get work done. Snacks and drinks on a daily basis are part of the perks of working at this agency along with working with extremely innovative people. 

You MUST have agency or big brand experince to be considered for this role. No relocation package is being offered.
