Vitamin T is currently in search of an Account Supervisor for our client in Toledo. This is a full time opportunity!

The account supervisor's job is to direct the activities of their accounts, with the assistance of their account coordinator, and take a proactive role in supporting, managing and growing their business. The job also includes assisting with the development of new accounts through an active new business process.

Reports to the President/COO

Responsibilities:

• Represent the agency in a professional manner
• Supervise client account activities, either personally or through an account coordinator, on a day-to-day basis
• Direct strategic planning, coordination and execution of client’s brand and communication strategy
• Help to grow client business by effective account service
• Understand your clients’ businesses, inside and out, to develop a working knowledge that will help frame marketing and communications strategies, objectives, and challenges that turn into agency assignments
• Ensure that final deliverables meet or exceed client expectations
• With the assistance of an account coordinator, generate client conference reports and maintain client bibles
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, with senior-level client contacts, to ensure long-term client relationships
• Assist agency President in keeping the agency current/actively engaged from the standpoint of process and procedures, growth opportunities and community relations
• Perform annual account reviews with clients
• Write marketing plans and strategy documents for clients to encourage business development
• Take an active role in developing the talent of account service staff who you supervise
• Prepare reports and participate in quarterly account meetings
• Assist in managing relationships with cross-functional departments, creative/development teams and external resources to achieve goals and objectives of accounts
• Informs supervisor regularly of client account progress; involve supervisor immediately in event of potential problems
• Provide timely issuance of all documentation: proposals, project initiations, creative briefs, estimates, timelines, meeting summaries, and status and budget reports
• Manage budgets, tracking & accounts receivable
• Assist with RFPs, RFQs and other new business activities as requested
• Keep up to date on new media trends and how they effect our media capabilities and offerings
• Effectively presents, sells and defends all agency work/proposals to clients; supports other client service team members in these functions
• Perform other duties as requested by team members
• Keep up-to-date on latest trends in the industry

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of agency or other relevant marketing experience
• MBA desired, but not required
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic thinking and planning skills
• A team player
