Account/ Project Manager

We are looking for an Account/ Project Manager to join a local team as our client's first ever Account/ Project Manager! You will have the opportunity to build on existing account management practices and play a central role in the success of the agency, and the success of their clients. In this role, you will be the conduit between clients, the internal team, and management.

Must haves to excel in this position:
Exceptionally skilled at developing and managing client relationships, as well as relationships with internal teams.
Excel at juggling priorities, time management, effective communications, managing projects, and running effective meetings.
You are able to understand clients' business goals, work with the team to develop an effective strategy to meet client goals, and challenge the team to deliver exceptional results.
Ability to evaluate client satisfaction, retention, and improving the team's efficiency.
This is NOT a sales position

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Forge strong professional relationships with clients
  • Manage all aspects of client projects and strategies including day to day client communication, deliverables, project plans and timelines, and project wrap-up
  • Fully understand client campaign goals
  • Ensure that strategies, tactics, and reporting align with client business goals
  • Manage projects and ongoing services within designated scope and hours
  • Help the team exceed client-identified business objectives
  • Maintain an effective client call & meeting schedule
  • Regularly identify and communicate opportunities for services-related strategies to clients
  • Provide account status updates to management
  • Manage internal capacity and utilization reporting in a timely manner
  • Identify account growth opportunities
  • Draft and review all statements of work/proposals/estimates with internal and client teams to ensure accuracy and ability to execute effectively

    Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or advertising
  • 3-5 years of agency account or project management experience
  • Solid understanding of search & social media marketing strategies and web analytics
  • Understanding of marketing strategies for B2B clients
  • Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Ridiculous organizational skills
  • Absolute command of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
