Seattle based Creative Agency
Contract to Hire role - 3 - 6 month contract

Senior Campaign Manager/ Account Planner

You are the critical connection point between what the brand wants to say and the consumer wants to hear. Planning’s role at our favorite Seattle agency is to be a student of consumer, channel and cultural trends. You need to be creative in how you get to know the target audiences and then succinct and persuasive in how you distill your insights into creative briefs, briefing decks, and related presentations. You need to challenge conventional thinking when necessary. You need to persuade clients, account teams and creatives to see the customer insights and stay on strategy all the way through the agency process.

Responsibilities
• Be scrappy in conducting grassroots research to understand customer pain points, values and needs; harvest insights from the research and use them to inform messaging and channel strategies.
• Develop accurate and insightful conclusions from research data and presents insights and recommendations.
• Be a leader. Be ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work in the trenches but, at the same time, provide actionable solutions for improving ways of working.
• Bring forward innovative ideas for content marketing that are applicable and will generate measurable results for clients.
• Participate in creative presentations – must be able to sell-in, conceptualize, lead, analyze, and present qualitative and quantitative research studies.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience leading strategic campaign planning. Bonus points if you have the chops to execute, too.
• You thrive on building intriguing stories out of quantitative and qualitative research.
• A background in tech (software, enterprise solutions, etc.) or experience working with tech clients.
• You are comfortable and interested in the end product not always being an advertisement but a product itself - a book, a documentary film, data visualization, or a web experience.
• You have a keen interest in the places where "marketing" and "sales" are blending into each other and be interested in advocating for the customers perspective in both areas.
• Powerpoint master.
• Lifelong student of the industry.
• Clients never cancel when you’re scheduled to present.
