Account Marketing Coordinator--The North Face

Account Marketing :: Contract Position 2012

The AM Contractor works closely with the Account Marketing team, Sales Agency Marketing Reps, and outside vendors to execute seasonal marketing initiative programs. The contractor will serve as project manager and will be responsible for all aspects of the seasonal initiatives rollout including asset gathering, overseeing asset creative approvals, managing agency budgets and ensuring project updates are clearly communicated and that the project is delivered on time.

• Works with the Sales Agency Marketing reps to gather and consolidate the seasonal in-store order forms and makes sure they are complete and on budget
• Works with new and existing vendors to place orders for marketing programs and manages follow up to ensure the orders are produced and shipped on schedule
• Works with cross functional marketing teams to gather program details and seeks creative approval from appropriate brand managers
• Works with Sales Agency Marketing reps and Creative Services to provide in-store directives
• Works with Creative Services to manage production of art files
• Works with Co-op Vendor to track Agency budgets and to ensure proper tracking tools are in place
• Assists in the development of seasonal initiative plans, creative requests, communication plan, event kits, tracking tools, etc and manages the project task list to ensure all deadlines are met
• Helps lead communication with co-op vendor and assists as point person for gathering information for seasonal ad templates, product images, product copy, workbooks, etc.
Requirements

Ability to plan and organize assigned projects, and coordinate the execution of these projects. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of audiences, and present The North Face marketing programs in a knowledgeable and professional manner. Must have a track record in establishing procedures, implementing processes and executing initiatives. Ability to problem solve in a fast paced environment. Ability to anticipate issues and proactively take action. Ability to understand and meet goals. Ability to work professionally with flexibility in handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly collaborative with excellent follow through skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs: WORD, EXCEL, and POWERPOINT.

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing , Retail Merchandising or a related field and minimum of 2+ years relevant and progressive experience in retail or marketing. Retail staff/visual merchandising experience a plus. Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and our environment.
