Account Manager-online marketing

This is a terrific contract to hire opportunity with a small but growing agency North of downtown.

In this role you will:
• help strategize and execute on a full range of online marketing initiatives including SEO/SEM, paid search, social media and more

• work collaboratively as part of a team on a variety of initiatives with a variety of clients

• research and understand your clients, their competitors, and your clients marketing objectives

• work with clients and team to strategize and execute paid and organic search campaigns

• write SEO appropriate copy

• Review and optimize accounts daily

• Analyze and report click rates, conversion, ad expenses and overall campaign performance

• Assist with the development of content for clients and agency’s various social media platforms

• Write blog posts for the agency blog and client blogs as necessary

• Monitor conversations about agency and client brands and develop proper responses to negative comments

• Formulate ideas to help cross-promote current campaigns in social media networks

• Have a full understanding of all social networks, their audience, and stay up-to-date with the newest social media trend.

• Define, plan and execute long-term social media engagements and strategies

• Target relationships with authoritative bloggers

• Translates trends and metrics into client and agency presentations

• Monitor traffic on partner web properties

• Collaborate with development team the best practices in analytics tracking and other optimization strategies.

You should have:

• PPC Marketing experience – Must have solid experience with AdWords and Adcenter platforms to manage campaigns in Google, Yahoo! and Bing.

• at least 2 years experience strategizing and managing SEO campaigns and understanding how search engines work.

• Experience developing, writing and monitoring social media tools such as Facebook, Yelp and Foursquare. Must also be familiar with social media monitoring tools
such as Radian6, Google Alerts, etc.

• Experience with ad serving platforms such as ATLAS, DoubleClick, etc.

• Experience strategizing and implementing behavioral and contextual media plans.

• Min. 2 years experience in an ad agency environment

• Excellent client facing and presentation skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
