Account Manager (medical device)

This position is responsible for providing high quality marketing materials to our global clients. This position is also accountable for helping clients articulate clear value propositions that create the most impactful marketing materials possible, while ensuring the integrity of our medical device/diagnostics brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support planning, coordination and execution of communications projects (campaigns, launches, and tradeshows) and the production of global collateral materials.
• With some support, partner with clients to consult, clarify and provide expertise on their requirements. Make recommendations of the most effective marketing channels to reach their target customers and help them meet their business objectives.
• Facilitate the completion of deliverables from start to finish. Deliverables include: brochures, case studies, multimedia, training materials, etc.
• Works with internal resources (designers, multimedia, digital teams, copywriter, exhibits, legal, regulatory, quality, medical affairs) to drive projects through the process to ensure SLA’s are met, without sacrificing quality.
• With some support, is the liaison between the client and the external resources (ad agency, printer, literature fulfillment, copywriter…) by maintaining regular contact with both, ensuring that communication flows effectively.
• Ensure work done by teams meet client requirements and is of high quality (no spelling or grammatical errors, follows style guide…), prior to presenting it to clients or submitting for review.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in field (marketing, communications, journalism, English or related field) with 2+ years of experience OR Master’s degree and 0-2 years of experience
• High energy, self-starter with bias for action and sense of urgency
• Able to perform well in a fast based, metrics driven environment
• Proficient writing, grammar and editing skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Skilled communicator, excellent interviewing and listening skills
• Good knowledge of AP writing style
• Technically proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Verifiable track record of success
• With support as needed, manage multiple projects that vary in complexity

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in related service oriented field (i.e. internal/external ad agency)
• Worked at a large organization
• Experience working in a scientific industry (healthcare, IVD, Medical Device, Life Science, or other scientific industry)
• Demonstrated competency using a project management tool
• Worked with global clients

• Ability to communicate concisely and clearly in through multiple channels with global customers
