Account Manager, in-house Agency

The Account Manager (AM) plans, coordinates and monitors communications programs and advertising materials to assist the client's line of business achieve its marketing and communications objectives. Reporting to the Communications Director for this group, the Account Manager plays a critical supporting role for ensuring client satisfaction. The AM is expected to be proactive, thorough, and able to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES
• Lead the development and execution of integrated communications plans that support the strategic marketing goals of the Group.
• Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with project management, creative, strategy management, and other centers of excellence within Communications.
• Maintain a close and supportive working relationship with both domestic and international clients.
• Author project briefs and assemble all required information to initiate new projects.
• Assist in the management of communications projects from inception through delivery on behalf of the marketing client.
• Work closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to uncover potential disruptions to the on-time delivery of high quality work products or to identify opportunities for budget overages.
• Partner with other Account Managers to monitor the communications activities of key global competitors and collect other market intelligence.
• Help create quarterly performance reports that provide strategic insights on communications programs to Kohler Power Group business partners and executives.
• Stay up to date on developments in the business groups and their industries, as well as the field of communications and marketing.
• Take initiative to learn and understand the brand(s).
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or director.
