Account Manager in Pharma/Healthcare

A global experience design agency is seeking an Account Manager with a PHARMA/HEALTHCARE focus. This is a freelance to hire position, mid-level, about 3-6 years of experience needed. Experience working for OR with NOVARTIS is a NEEDED for this role!! They have a specific internal review process that the candidate NEEDS to be familiar with as they will be helping to manage the work and that process. They are hoping to have someone start by the end of the month. There will likely be 2 in-person interviews.

Job Spec:
- Specifically will have worked at an agency or in house (preferably with Novartis) in delivering (building and designing) digital products and services, as well as being responsible for the implementation of medical copy into these digital assets.
- They will have worked with Pharmaceutical clients and are versed in the regulations and protocol of pharma company. They will have a track record of managing the process, managing clients and will have specific results for the products they have built.
- They will have been part of a team that has gained press coverage or an award for the products they have worked on (mobile, web development, social media).
- Day-to-day you will be working with our clients and the studio team to deliver a varied mix of projects covering content strategy, brand strategy, UX driven digital design builds and complex product builds. You will be working closely with other members of the Account Team, along with regularly collaborating with our strategists, producers, designers and developers to ensure we produce work that delivers a high level of quality and strategic thinking to our clients. Sr. Account Managers are highly embedded in the projects and contribute to the work we are delivering to our clients. Sr. Account Managers fully understand the importance of keeping client satisfaction top of mind in everything we do.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading, planning and managing client relationships
- Oversee the successful execution of projects from start to finish
- Ensure effective delivery of all client projects and take ownership of client satisfaction
- Provide financial updates on briefs and projects to external and internal stakeholders
- Financial account management and reporting which is aimed at supporting account growth

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive knowledge of the Novartis MAP submission process
- Knowledgeable in multiple experience design digital platforms: interactive builds, web design and usability, interactive advertising, mobile, user interface design
- Well versed in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer issues within the digital realm
- Good understanding of digital marketing, with bonus points given for advanced technical knowledge (HTML, JavaScript, etc)

DAILY DUTIES
- Own the client relationship with key clients of the agency
- Establish the process and tone to the working relationship with our clients
- Work with delivery team to ensure quality, timeliness and profitability of project execution
- Own quality assurance for all client deliverables
- Outline, address and resolve project risks
- Lead and engage clients with innovative ideas
- Support new business process
- Advocate and lead internal teams in bringing new initiatives to our clients

REQUIREMENTS
- 3-6 years experience working within a healthcare digital agency (branding, product or advertising agency) or in-house. Experience of working within a digital organization is required
- Exceptional client management skills, experience managing large scale clients
- Full understanding digital marketing with massive exposure to digital creative teams and builds, experience design, interactive advertising, web design and/or mobile design
- Track record in managing and growing clients, financial account planning and reporting
- Ideally you will have achieved a University Degree or Masters in a subject such as technology, business, computer sciences or a related discipline
