Account Manager (Social Media / Digital Marketing)

Vitamin T is assisting a boutique branding and design agency in their search for super-talented, social media/digital marketing- savvy Account Manager to create engaging interactive experiences that drive value for their clients. This is a temp to hire position, onsite in Lower Manhattan.

As a Social/Digital focused Account Manager, you will lead the development and execution of social media strategy and content creation across all social channels and manage the execution of a range of digital projects for 2 premium beauty brands.

This role will: 
· Put our clients’ goals first, understanding their desired outcomes and creating solutions that meet and exceed them 
· Manage overall project portfolio for both brands, ensuring deliverables are on strategy, on time and within budget 
· Function as a brand steward, ensuring consistency across all content 


Content Strategy & Editorial Calendar 
· Partner on development and management of social strategy that will increase brand awareness, engagement and conversion 
· Collaborate on campaign concepts that support the broader omni-channel marketing plan 
· Create and maintain an editorial calendar 
· Identify, maintain and grow relationships with key influencers 


Production, Publishing & Analytics 
· Manage the production of all content, including obtaining existing assets and copy, and working with a team of designers, videographers, photographers, and copywriters to produce new content 
· Traffic all content for client approval prior to posting 
· Partner with community manager to publish per agreed-upon cadence, and ensure frequent and consistent audience engagement 
· Measure and analyze performance, producing weekly and monthly reports for client review 
· Make strategic recommendations to optimize content and campaign(s) to increase impressions, engagements and sales


Digital Retainer Management 
· Manage digital retainer, including project initiation, briefing, trafficking and hand-off; projects will include overall strategic concepting, creative consultation, photography, asset design 
and creation, and production support for digital campaigns and e-commerce updates 
· Prepare monthly reports on hours used and projects delivered 


Ideal candidate has: 
· 2 - 5 years experience creating and managing multi-channel social and digital campaigns based on current/emerging trends for beauty, haircare and/or fashion brands, including experience managing influencer-based social campaigns 
· Passionate about social media/digital marketing, obsessed with the beauty/haircare/ fashion industries, and a desire to always know what’s new and next 
· Fluent in InDesign, Keynote, spreadsheets and project management software 
· Experience with common CMS platforms and web analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout, Google Analytics or similar)
