One of Portland's largest agencies is looking for a talented Account Manager to add to their team; one month contract to hire. If you’re a marketing veteran whose experience includes high tech, working in an agency environment in an Account Management position, and you enjoy hitting the road for in-person engagements, we may have the job for you. You must be detail-oriented and excel when the game is on the line. Create and maintain professional client relationships through regular in-person, phone and email engagement; act as a liaison for the client with all agency departments
If you can work independently with only periodic guidance and strategic support from the Account Director, please read on. An Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day overview of assigned accounts. You’ll need a great personality, strong opinions, and in-depth knowledge of B2B, digital projects, events, experiential activations, content heavy projects, and curiosity.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide strategic insights and industry knowledge to support client endeavors
Develop documentation including creative briefs, conference reports and weekly performance summaries for client review and approval; set goals for client success through agency programs
Actively partner with strategic, creative and practice leads to ensure all work is on strategy and on target with client expectations
Take fiscal responsibility including billings, change orders and SOW review and approval for assigned accounts
Have deep understanding of business categories for assigned clients, continue to grow and learn about different marketing disciplines and use past experience to support client needs
Work in tandem with account director to develop marketing proposals to solve client business challenges
Establish new relationships within assigned accounts for new opportunities
