Account Manager

Overseeing the development and delivery of solutions across a range of clients, our Account Managers will work across bespoke recruitment and communications projects (brochures, videos, exhibition stands, media and multi-
media projects), to day-to-day delivery of campaigns. Working with the account team, and reporting to the Account Directors you will play a key role in advising clients on the best approaches to achieve outcomes.

You will have the confidence and presence to excite clients about what we can do for them and to challenge their preconceptions. Your ability to spot and sell in opportunities and provide excellent customer service will enable you to develop and retain clients, contributing to the profitability of the company.

You will be experienced in managing and developing multiple accounts and have a wide knowledge and understanding of communications collateral and media in order to identify the most appropriate channels for clients.

You will build your personal presence and confidence to establish credibility with the client and internal departments. This requires a friendly, outgoing yet robust personality. You will work with account teams, creative, digital, planning, resourcing and production to ensure work is delivered on budget and to deadline.

Your day-to-day role will typically include the following:

 Management of Client Relationships

You will have a designated portfolio of clients – for some accounts you will take the lead but may work alongside the Account Director. You will keep in regular contact with your clients and be the point of contact for the project in hand and any new projects that may arise.

 Developing Business

Using the knowledge of your clients and the challenges they face and through taking an interest in the recruitment environment, you will identify opportunities to develop the breadth and depth of services we offer to your contacts. You will contribute these ideas to form client development plans. You will keep up to date with the range of services that we have to offer and be comfortable advising clients.

 Management of Accounts and Projects

Working with clients and internal resource to ensure all elements are delivered on time and to budget. Quality of service delivery is essential to retain clients and you will demonstrate concern for excellence in your day-to-day work as well as checking the work of others. You will address and resolve any major quality issues with the team and work with them to implement new ways of working where this will improve success.

 Financial Awareness

Through awareness of the margin made on the business delivered to your clients you will seek opportunities to maximise this. You will make sure that all work in progress and potential income is reported on a weekly basis so that financial forecasts can be as accurate as possible.
