Vitamin T is currently in search of an Account Manager for our client in Metro Detroit, MI for their offices in Danbury, CT. This is a 4-5 month, full-time contract assignment with our client that could be extended based on the client needs.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- Understand the brand as well as Local Marketing Association (LMA) objectives and ability to implement the strategies to accomplish them
- Work with clients to understand business objectives as well as the business climate within their region, including sales rate, inventory, competitive marketing activities and market share
- Lead the development of tactics that extend, amplify and activate brand strategy and marketing communications activities
- Analyze the business and lead the development of strategic marketing communication solutions for the Clients
- Ensure the reporting of timely and accurate information on market conditions and LMA marketing communications activities, problems or critical situations
- Supervise an Account Executive who assists in managing the daily business of assigned client LMAs

Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Business-related or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of dealer group experience working in the field in a supervisory role preferred
- Ability to develop strategic marketing communication plans
- Strong presentation skills, experience with client interaction, and confidence to assertively and tactfully manage challenging clients
- Understanding of financial management and forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with internal agency departments, vendors and client
- Knowledge of the automotive industry
