Our client, a marketing firm in Westford, MA is seeking an Account Manager/Project Manager to work with a variety of technology clients! They specialize in global, service-oriented programs for technology companies in a variety of industries.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
In this full-time position as Account Executive, you will act as one of the tactical team leaders who work with our clients in driving market development. You will help identify the best market opportunities, and implement an aggressive program of marketing activities to help our clients achieve growth and profit goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Program Management: Track the progress of assigned accounts on a daily basis. Ensure that all client commitments are met.
• Marketing Plans: Serve as project leader on all marketing plans, organizing resources, managing writing, and creating presentations.
• Team Leadership: Lead your team in providing quality work, on time, and on budget. Supervise all client program summaries, and approve all project budgets generated by team members. Conduct team meetings on a regular basis to track the progress of deliverables.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of client communication regarding deliverables and client input on program and project level activities.
• Internal Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Account Manager on the status of all activities.
• Media Management: Supervise media research, planning, and placement, as well as technical article and pr writing/editing.
• Copywriting: Generate all text required for marketing communications projects, including web site, sales literature, email campaigns, advertising, press releases, etc.
• Meetings: Prepare for and assist the Account Manager in all client planning and tracking meetings. Attend WHM manager meetings as required.
• Training: Conduct staff training as required.
• Invoices: Issue monthly client invoices.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 7-10 years of marketing communications/public relations/product marketing experience
• Undergraduate degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field of study
• Aggressive problem solver who can creatively generate ideas
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Highly capable of managing project plans, budgets, and both internal and external resources
• Outstanding presentation and communications abilities
• Project planning and budgeting experience
• Staff management and training experience is strongly preferred, but not required
• Understanding of general business issues
• Ability to communicate with management and team members to facilitate program activities
• Ability to travel for client meetings (approx. 25% of time, primarily domestic, some international)
