Our client, a leading insurance organization in Hartford is looking for a talented Account Manager to join their internal creative team on a long-term contract basis.
Creative Services Account Manager:Owns the internal client relationshipBuilds long-term relationships with internal clients“Sell” clients on team's services and creative ideasFunction as the primary liaison between the client and the creative teamAdvise on strategy & tacticsEnsure the client's expectations are met on key projects regarding vision, quality, schedule and budgetDo NOT create copy or design materials
Strategic Advisor to client:Advise on marketing and creative strategy (may include work on audience, messaging, competitive intelligence, channel marketing, media selection)Advise client on appropriate quality standards (in the context of cost and schedule options)Contact each client regularly to assess client needs. Discuss priorities current and upcoming projects, and post project recapsNegotiate the project details between the client and the creative teamPresent campaign/project strategies and creative to clients (in person)Explain the creative rationale behind concepts to client, and how the creative connects to the goals in the creative briefAttend client staff meetingsDiscuss every new creative brief live with client to ensure solid creative direction is provided to CS team
Creative Services Leadership:Advise on client vision, represent the client's vision within the creative teamLead meetings with members of creative and traffic teams to kick off projectsPresent client jobs at creative review, providing background and creative rationale
Project Management:Provide the traffic manager with all needed information to initiate a jobOversee production of major components for clients’ major campaignsObtain all necessary sign-offsManage schedules, budget, assets for each job. Review status of each jobEnsure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executedDevelop detailed project plans and monitor progress against themDocument and communicate scope change (obtain client approval as required)Provide weekly status reports to client, including hours spent and ETA per job.
