Our client, a leading insurance organization is looking for an Account Manager to join their Creative Services team.


  • Owns the internal client relationship

  • Builds long-term relationships with internal clients

  • “Sell” clients on team's services and creative ideas

  • Function as the primary liaison between the client and the creative team

  • Advise on strategy & tactics

  • Ensure the client's expectations are met on key projects regarding vision, quality, schedule and budget

  • Do NOT create copy or design materials

  • Responsibilities

  • Present campaign/project strategies and ideas to clients

  • Contact each client regularly to assess client needs, discuss current and upcoming projects

  • Review and present concepts/layouts/copy to clients for approval

  • Negotiate the project details between the client and the creative team

  • Provide the traffic manager with all needed information to initiate a job

  • Lead meetings with members of creative and traffic teams to discuss current and future projects

  • Lead meetings with clients to discuss current, future projects and post project “lessons learned” meetings

  • Oversee production of major components for clients’ major campaigns

  • Obtain all necessary sign-offs

  • Advise on marketing and creative strategy (may include work on audience, messaging, competitive intelligence, channel marketing, media selection)

  • Check status of each job the client has in the creative department to verify the clients' strategic objectives and goals are incorporated into the creative

  • Advise on client vision

  • Represent the client's vision within the creative team

  • Advise client on appropriate quality standards (particularly in light of budget and schedule)

  • Check status of each job the client has in the creative department to verify it offers the requisite quality

  • Review project cost estimates with clients

  • Manage schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure the team is delivering on its promises on every project

  • Ensure requirements and project deliverables dates are clearly communicated, understood and executed

  • Develop detailed project plans and monitor progress against them

  • Document and communicate scope change (obtain client approval as required)

  • Help client establish schedule of critical milestones

  • Check status of each job the client has in the creative department to verify it will be done on time
