Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join their Cross Channel Marketing team, based in Weybridge, Surrey

About the Team
This team looks after the account needs of our existing clients. They use their knowledge of our products and services, along with strategic advice from our consultants to ensure maximum revenue from our accounts. The teams are also responsible for cross selling and contract renewal activities.

The Teams consist of a mix of account managers and directors and are managed by an experienced account director. We have two distinct Teams- one looking after our retail portfolio and the other supporting clients in the financial sector.

About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the Account Directors in managing the relationship from close of sale, through to end of contract and onward renewal across a portfolio of Enterprise client accounts.

You will be required to grow your accounts in terms of revenue spend and breadth of services taken and work towards ensuring the renewal of all contracted service accounts.

You will be a key point of contact for the client, and be expected to communicate with other teams such as service management, solution management etc on behalf of your clients. You will become the clients voice.

The Role Responsibilities

• To manage the day-to-day relationship with the client, from the point the account is handed over from the sales team
• Work towards bedding in the account to ensure that all services are delivered that were originally agreed within the scope
• Ascertain the potential for future ‘cross selling’ opportunities in conjunction with the account director, in order to deliver the entire breadth of services available, e.g. creative services
• Ongoing account management in a timely and proactive manner, which will include regular telephone contact, status reports and physical visits to the customer premises on an agreed timescale
• To be a trusted advisor to your allocated clients.
• Provide regular insights into the clients email activity by providing reports and strategy documents. Utilise these findings to identify and progress opportunities to deliver further services or ad-hoc projects
• Work closely with Account Director to produce any support materials needed for meetings and reviews.
• Proactively address any day to day issues that are escalated from the customer using the appropriate internal resources to see through to resolution. Escalate where necessary to the Account Director
• Plan and manage the renewal timetable for all the accounts within remit and proactively work towards securing the customer renewing their contract.
• Identify opportunities within customer accounts to deliver further ad-hoc project work or respond to customer driven inquiries and work with the customer, project management team and client services teams to develop opportunities into signed off projects
• Involvement where required in migration projects
• To ensure all billing is accurately entered into the portal and POs provided where necessary
• When requested by the sales teams, attend meetings with potential new customers to assist in the pre-sales process
• Prepare necessary materials and demonstration equipment to be used within the customer meetings
• Contribute to tender documents, RFP’s and presentations

Key Result Areas
• Drive annual revenue growth within existing clients.
• Retain all clients within enterprise retail team.
• Deliver accurate forecasting, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
• Ensure all clients renew before contract expiry date. For clients out of contract, work with account manager to negotiate new contract.
• Drive key stakeholder engagement within client base, ensuring c-level dialogue to protect renewal and drive new opportunities.
