ACCOUNT MANAGER
• Candidate should have 5-8 or more years of advertising agency or in house agency experience
• Must have account person experience; media and creative experience is a plus
• In house agency candidates should have similar experience/titles
• Candidates should have direct hands on experience managing work within an agency or in house agency, vs. as a marketer who worked with an agency or in house agency.
• Candidate should have broad experience in:
o Developing a creative brief/marketing strategy
o Reviewing/assessing creative work (printed, digital, video)
o Experience with management of digital work, digital terminology, and process fundamentals
o Presenting work to clients and articulating the underlying strategy
o Being a confident day-to-day client interface
o Independently managing the development of, presentation of, and delivery of print, digital and video work
o Providing feedback and direction to design and multimedia partners
o Working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
o Managing campaigns across cross-functional teams (experience in pulling teams together from various areas for integrated campaign development and execution)
• Candidate will report into manager offsite (candidate in Charlotte, manager in NY)
• Candidate should possess strong project management skills, inclusive of:
o Fluency in Project Management tool (such as Workfront or similar) to open jobs, assign teams, communicate on projects, and enter/track time
o Development of estimates, tracking of budgets, and budget reconciliation
o Development of project plans/schedules, anticipating all checkpoints in the life of a project and initiative
o Tracking and development of project media and business metrics for reporting
