We are looking for an online/digital focused account/media manager for a 3 month contract position in NYC, the candidate must have advertising agency account management or media experience focused on online/digital/web based accounts/clients. email rhmartinez@aquent.com


This position is responsible for partnering with AEs to respond to RFPs and leads from Agencies, advertisers and in response to marketing initiatives for Disney Interactive. The incumbent will manage RFP revisions during the selling cycle, as well as post sale, creating and managing contract execution. To be successful, the incumbent must understand sales packaging for primarily standard inventory as well as yield parameters. Post sale, the Account and Media manager is responsible for the relationship with many customer accounts and is responsible for the management of sponsorship and standard online media campaigns for these customers, inclusive of execution, delivery, trafficking and optimization. This position will manage efforts across functional areas within the organization such as Sales, Marketing, Pricing and Yield, Site Production, and various technical teams and ensure that advertising customers have comprehensive support and service. The Account and Media manager understands customer advertising priorities and strategies.

The Account and Media Manager will be responsible for:
· Developing online media plans in support of advertiser and agency goals, as well as in accordance with the objectives and strategies communicated by Finance, Yield and Sales Management.

· Serving as a liaison between the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance teams by providing insight into market activity and client requests.

· Assisting in the proper set up and entry of media plans into DSM by being involved in relevant meetings with the site producers and ad production teams.

· Providing guidance to Sales Executives about upcoming sales programs

· Managing post sale campaigns to success, including client relationship



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Creates and manages proposal and contract life cycle for client media plans including pricing exception approvals, media mix exception approvals and renewals for primarily standard inventory

· Requests, trafficks, and tests creative assets and ensures that assigned advertisements are executed as agreed; including monitoring and troubleshooting advertisement production and delivery to ensure customer expectations are met; and developing solutions for underperforming advertisements

· Manages the post-sale client relationship; sets and manages client expectations

· Creates reports and analyzes advertising campaign performance data (from DIMG Ad System, 3rd Parties, web analytics and business intelligence tools) and distributes to internal stakeholders and clients

· Manages the approvals needed for advertising placements from a variety of different internal and external stakeholders, including leading calls with internal sales, site production and marketing groups and external clients to manage the production and execution of custom sponsorship campaigns


QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION
· Bachelors Degree

· 3+ years of experience in media planning, buying or account management in an online advertising environment

· Experience working with a Sales organization

· In-depth understanding of interactive marketing, trafficking and online media proposals

· Proven expertise of the online advertising industry including terminology and mechanics including Video, Mobile and Social Gaming

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

· Ability work independently while contributing to team goals

· Working knowledge of a variety of 3rd party software: Atlas, DART, SalesForce etc., required

· Working knowledge of rich media vendors (examples: PointRoll, Unicast, Eyeblaster, Eyewonder and other) required

· Experience working with CPM, CPC, CPV and CPA buying models as well as, behavioral and retargeting experiences

· Proven track record of and demonstrated success in working in either an online ad sales team or an agency environment is required

· Well organized, detail-oriented, excellent writing and verbal skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office

· Functional understanding of HTML, Flash, databases, and other web technologies desirable
