Account Executive/Project Manager

This AE/PM is a hybrid role and a critical player in ensuring a smooth operation for the team, happy clients, and successful creative that deliver results. You will be reporting into your Account Director, and occasionally the CEO, as well as directly interfacing with clients. You will be working on project-based work, which means juggling priorities, resources, client requests and deadlines. You will be working across the entirety of a project from pitching, kick-off, creative development and implementation. You are an enabler who gets everyone what they need when they need it.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS
 Relationship Nurturing – Ensure a happy client by delivering a superb client experience each and every project. Maintain open lines of communication, meet deadlines, and anticipate needs.
 Scoping – Help draft and monitor scopes with precision; eliminating scope creep, and adjusting budgets where necessary. Manage resources to get the job done on time and well.
 Budgeting – Maximize revenue by helping build budgets correctly. Work with accounting to get invoices out and timely payment.
 Briefing – Help Account Directors translate client’s marketing and branding needs into structured, succinct creative briefs that stimulate creative thinking for our studio.
 Timing – Our agency is fast paced. Work with your team to deliver work on time every time, and monitor resources to avoid time crunches. Identify efficiencies.
 Critical Eye – Possess an eye for helping critique work against the brief. Proof read copy before work goes out the door.
 Trafficking – See a project out, ensuring all deliverables are met and resources are not stretched.
 Presentations – Be it new business capabilities pitches, responses to an RFP, or delivery of creative concepts, be willing and able to assist in pulling together presentation decks.
 New Business Development – Support business development initiatives and new client interactions by assisting the CEO and your Account Director in new business activities.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL
 Ability to Pivot – Manage multiple projects, clients, and teams simultaneously
 Rapport – Ours is a people business. Both internally and externally, effective relationships are key
 Resourceful – Aware of what is needed and assign resources to deliver
 Dependable – Lots of people are going to be looking for an answer
 Confidence – Know the client, their needs, and what standard the work must meet
 Communication –Effective communication is key to all stakeholders
 Accuracy – Sound project management skills

SKILLS
 5 years’ minimum experience in a client service, account, or project management role with a design
and/or marketing agency
 Strong commitment to client satisfaction
 Trafficking experience within an agency environment
 Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
 Prioritization skills, and flexibility
 Self-starting initiative
 Microsoft Office (esp. PowerPoint), Keynote. Adobe InDesign a huge plus, but not essential.
 Project management software (Gantt charts, budgets, status trackers and reporting tools)—we work with Workamajig and Fast Track, but we can teach you those
 A sense personality—we have fun and we love what we do!
