Our client is seeking a digital-savvy communications professional to join the Chicago office as a Account Executive. The social and digital spectrum includes not only platforms and communities such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and blogs, but also search marketing, content syndication, Web site design, application development, online contests and more. We are the next generation agency focused on comprehensive social and digital strategy, not just building destinations.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with clients and account teams on the development of social media programs and strategies focusing primarily on clients in B2C and B2B industries.
• Direct internal strategy teams in employing a variety of research techniques to understand and analyze online data and provide insight about relevant online conversations and voices in those conversations
• Lead the creation of social media strategies built on the shoulders of the research and an understanding the client’s business goals.
• Develop and publish/distribute content and editorial to support social media strategies and campaigns.
• Manage execution of social media campaigns
• Work with a cross-functional group on social media training initiatives
• Prepare reports summarizing the results of social media campaigns
• Contribute to our clients blog and other thought leadership efforts in the social media space as required.

Required qualifications:
• 4 - 7 years of relevant work experience in the social and digital communications space
• Solid understanding of social media and the digital landscape
• Track record of rapidly learning and executing against complex industries
• Must be passionate about quickly-evolving social media environment
• Outstanding research and analytical skills
• Superior communication, organizational, and project management skills
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
• Ability to work effectively and proactively within a team setting
• BA/BS
