Account Executive - Print Production Manager

Aquent' client is a print production Firm onsite with a major Automotive Company in Torrance, and they're looking for an Account Executive to join their team. In this role, the Account Executive is a pivotal member of the firm's team who ensures effective communications, workflows, and information exchange with Company clients and within the Firm itself. They help ensure the timeliness, cost-effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the Firm’s work and are instrumental in assuring a positive Company client relationship. They are the representatives of the Firm for all day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
1. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the client’s business category and brand in order to contribute to planning and implementation of strategic programs and ensures that the work we do meets the requirements of the Client and all associated brand standards.
a. Manages client input. Assures that information provided is complete and strategic objectives are understood.
b. Develops creative briefs as needed. Preliminarily reviews work to determine that it is on strategy. Responsible for securing internal and client reviews and approvals.
2. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of clients’ target audience.
3. Establishes a credible, professional relationship with the client to continually affirm confidence in the work we do through the firm.
a. Maintains primary client contact on day-to-day business.
b. Manages day-to-day execution of account projects.
c. Anticipates clients’ day-to-day and forecasted needs.
d. Presents creative work to client.
e. Communicates with the Firm Graphics Manager and Company Firm Manager any client relationship concerns in timely manner.
4. Provides clear communication to and from the client and through the firm team for purposes of clarity of objectives, managing and meeting client expectations and efficiencies.
a. Secures information from client, interprets requests and provides information and direction to firm department for the initiation of work.
b. Manages internal communication
i. Leads creative input meetings
ii. Actively participates in creative reviews
c. Provides status reports to client when applicable.
d. Prioritizes tasks to ensure work meets client and internal deadlines.
5. Oversees quality of work being presented to the client to establish and maintain quality image of firm.
a. Makes recommendations for improving quality, timeliness and productivity, including developing solutions.
b. Maintains responsibility for final proofreading of creative work and account team correspondence prior to client presentation or production prior to printing.
6. Maintains fiscal responsibility by ensuring that projects stay on budget. Continually monitors project budgets and when necessary, take decisive corrective action to ensure projects are completed within budgetary parameters.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business communications, public relations, business administration or equivalent.
• Five years advertising agency or equivalent marketing experience where excellent client/customer service has been critical to job function.
• Five years advertising agency or equivalent experience and understanding of print media production and finishing techniques (4-color lithography, digital and print-on-demand, etc.).
• Must possess superior written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Must be well organized, able to meet deadlines and demonstrate tact and diplomacy.

This is a contract-to-hire position with Aquent, on site with their client in Torrance, CA. This position is not available to 3rd-party agencies or c2c arrangements at this time.
