Account Director with digital experience

Full service digital agency is looking for an Account Director. In this role, you will be responsible for growing, nurturing and managing client account relationships with heavy involvement in account planning and marketing strategies. This translates to taking ownership of client accounts assigned and managing all facets of each account by driving internal and client meetings related to discovery, planning, and strategy. Requires an understanding of the online world and its ever-changing dynamics in order to thoughtfully up-sell clients on services offered by the agency. Specializes in augmenting the business of existing accounts. Oversees formulation of digital strategies. Oversees client relationships, internal-team relationships, and account operations during the planning, development, and execution of digital campaigns. Conceives and executes email marketing programs to increase customer acquisition, retention, and conversion rates. Develops communication plans; segmentation strategies; and online offers. Evaluates effectiveness of email communications and search engine marketing while working with other specialists in the company. Ability to identify opportunities that help drive sales for the client's business as their digital advisor.

• Grow and nurture client relationships
• Responsible for ongoing strategic direction and counsel to clients and internal teams, ensuring successful implementation of client objectives
• Ability to pitch and sell other services offered that could benefit the client's online marketing needs
• Develop and manage integrated communications programs within highly visible accounts, including providing strategic and innovative counsel and developing strong client relationships. Ability to effectively scope work and write proposals to engage clients
• Analyze and utilize market research, web analytics, and competitive intelligence to adjust online marketing strategies to meet ever-changing employer needs and competitive conditions
• Works closely with project management team to ensure workplan generation and adherence, budget administration, resource allocations, client interactions, internal meeting facilitation, scope/change order management and maintaining and administering fee billing schedules meet client's expectations
• Meets quarterly sales goals with existing client relationships
• Fills out sales sheets with projections on a daily basis
• Prepares for, leads, conducts and writes discovery questions and reports to better understand the client's business environment
• Conducts, leads and generates deliverables for all strategic services
• Writes strategic design briefs/plans, content strategy documents, etc
• Brainstorms, writes and presents existing clients with a strategic slide deck offering strategic, thought-provoking, research-focused solutions that align with client's business goals
• Reviews and provides feedback on search marketing reports and strategy led by Search Marketing Specialist
• Assists with new business opportunities upon availability and capacity

Job Requirements:

• Agency experience a must
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or other related field
• 5+ years of Account Management and sales experience delivering digital-based solutions and account service for large website projects, email marketing, video projects, online marketing efforts, including but not limited to search engine optimization, paid search and display advertising management
• Ability to present and generate new business with existing accounts
• Ability to manage and grow multiple active accounts at one time
• Have a solid understanding of online marketing services and lead generation tools
• Experience marketing with and proven use of web-based and interactive tools such as blogs, multimedia sites, and messaging tools along with effective use of agency's proprietary solutions
• Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
• Should have strong understanding of interactive strategy and how solutions can affect design and technology. Macintosh/Windows platform skills are necessary, including Internet, and email applications
