Aquent is looking for an Account Director to cover the Boston market and some additional areas on the east coast. Well, really we are looking for someone special with strong initiative and self-direction who enjoys connecting with people. The primary function of an Account Director at Aquent is to grow market share by developing new business through: * Creating new buyers billing within existing accounts * Generating new clients billing in each of Aquent 4 Practices: Creative, Marketing, Online Marketing, and Interactive Design Supporting Responsibilities: * Consistently follow a formal sales process and maintain a healthy pipeline * Sell AQUENT Staffing Services: Contract, Talent Bridge and Payroll Services * Develop, lead and update account strategies for designated accounts * Develop and manage relationships with key contacts (Senior Level Marketing, Web and Creative Services Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Diversity, Finance and HR) * Respond to contracts, pricing and RFP's * Develop a healthy account mix, balancing near-term prospects for immediate revenue generation with larger, longer-term, more strategic clients *Deliver fanatical customer service through consistent quality checks with clients *Accurately document efforts in a shared database * Embrace and promote teamwork * Cross-sell Practices: Creative, Marketing, Online Marketing, and Interactive Design * Leverage AQUENT subject matter experts * Manage conflict resolution and service recovery as needed * Attend/conduct regularly scheduled internal meetings to update the service delivery teams and management on progress of the account * Follow Aquent non-negotiable best practices Account Director Profile: * Strong business acumen * Ability to maintain focus and high productivity with minimal management * Consistent self-learner * Able to quickly establish and maintain client relationships from the C-Level executives, ordering managers in all Practices, HR, Diversity and Procurement departments within a company * Enthusiastic and involved networker * Confident and tenacious closer * Accomplished consultative seller with good problem solving skills
