The Account Director is a high level, strategic account management position supporting existing client needs and new business opportunities. The VP Account Supervisor manages several pieces of business as well as the teams who support those accounts. The VP Account Supervisor supports and reports to the Senior V.P., Account Director.

Must-Have Skills:
8+ year experience account experience
Healthcare experience ideal but not a must have
Strong internal and external communication skills
Experience dealing with demanding personalities, tough clients (who have not worked with agencies before)
An ability to get a high volume of projects done in fast past atmosphere
Experience at integrated agency and completing web, broadcast, digital, print, print
comfortable having difficult conversations
Personality! Should have thick skin, roll with the punches but still execute

Responsibilities
· Day-to-day strategic and tactical lead for assigned client’s brands. This person will work with the client and the agency teams to determine and implement the strategies and tactics that will achieve brand objectives.

· Ascertain clients’ marketing communications needs, and effectively communicate them to Creative, Media and other appropriate departments and/or executives, all the while serving as the client advocate within the agency.

- Responsibilities include leading and managing the day-to-day execution of various projects and/or programs; partnering with key agency departments to manage creative development; and preparing clear, concise communications for the client.

· The Account Director manages & mentors team direct reports.
Encourage and evaluate team use of the HYC Roche Team Procedures and Best Practices.
Supervise the development and administration of the clients’ budgets and billing to ensure that the agency team operates within those budgets.
Negotiate changes in client budgets to reflect changing client demands.
Maintain efficient and cost-effective management of agency resources and personnel to meet and exceed client expectations while maintaining appropriate agency profitability.
The VP Account Supervisor builds and maintains positive, lasting client relationships based on helping the client achieve marketing objectives with a continual view on the future needs of the brand.
