Our client, a marketing and advertising agency servicing the healthcare industry, is looking for an Account Director that can combine intelligence and experience with drive and passion for what they do. As an Account Director, you will be a leader in the Client Services department. Your job will be to lead client engagements and build business. The ability to provide pharmaceutical cross-channel strategic guidance, to build strong, mutually trusting relationships with their clients, and to contribute as a leader within the Account Team is most important.

The ideal Account Director:
-Is a senior-level account manager with direct-to-consumer and/or direct-to-physician pharmaceutical marketing experience
-Is responsible for leading the strategy and business for key client account(s)
-Is directly accountable for the account revenue growth and profitability
-Consults with senior level clients to recommend and develop cross-channel marketing strategies including digital, offline, and CRM/program-level platforms
-Partners with creative counterparts to guide the strategic vision and lead the internal agency team
-Identifies holistic opportunities and recommends cross-channel marketing strategies both internally and externally to achieve them
-Writes insightful documents, recommendations and assessments that fuel great creative and measurable programs
-Provides insight to strategy based on past experience, drawing relevant parallels for the current ask
-Is responsible for the mentorship and strategic growth and leadership of the account management team
-Reports directly to agency senior management
-Liaises with cross-agency counterparts and vendors to guide integrated strategic recommendations for our clients

Qualifications:
-Minimum 7-9 years in account management at an advertising agency having direct experience with digital, offline (DTC, promotional, and NPP), and program-level marketing experience
-Robust CRM (relationship management) experience is imperative
-Demonstrated ability to lead the development of strategic marketing recommendations and provide ongoing strategic guidance to clients
-Extensive experience in leading cross-client engagements and project teams within both the consumer and professional realms
-Proven ability to write insightful, well-thought out and logical strategic documents (e.g., POVs, online marketing plans, tactical recommendations, etc)
-The ideal candidate MUST HAVE pharmaceutical marketing experience (e.g. direct-to-consumer, direct-to-professional, etc) and extensive knowledge of the regulatory process
-Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement
