Title: Account Director

Role:
The role of the Account Director is to serve as the liaison between the client and the creative team and production teams to ensure the client’s needs and goals are met while adhering to agency process and standards:
• To promote agency’s value of quality
• To promote agency’s workflow efficiency
• To communicate clearly in both verbally and in writing.
• To provide creative and innovative ideas for the agency
• To be resourceful and well-organized
• To delegate successfully and follow directions professionally
• To problem solve proactively with all departments
• To nurture a healthy and passionate relationship among the creative, production, administrative and account management teams
• To consider resource needs from a financial as well as creative perspective
• To be able to think big and then come back to the details
• To effectively manage client expectations and anticipate client’s actions.

Manager and Performance Review by:
Group Account Director

Responsibilities
• Develop and manage creative schedules
• Responsible for execution and distribution of client status reports
• Coordinate all internal creative check-ins, creative reviews, pre & post production meetings
• Manage execution aspects of creative development and production
• Monitor competitive activity and consumer trends
• Manage the maintenance of production budgets, estimates, job number requests and invoicing to client
• Work with Account Director to develop estimates internally
• Manage legal substantiation, proofreading and trademark/usage clearances
• Independent creation and maintenance of budget reports
• Proficiently write internal/external memos, emails, conference reports
• Prompt, professional and efficient responses to client requests
• Take lead on secondary production projects
• Take initiative to learn client’s business and category
• Leverage a variety of sources for request information
• Interact with clients as needed and provide primary interface
• Seek opportunities to present internally
• Lead the preparation of photo shoots with regards to trafficking vital production information and client product delivery/inventory/shot list.

• Strategic planning and media knowledge
• Fashion/Luxury/Retail/Beauty experience, knowledge and passion
• 2-3 years account/project management experience at advertising agency, design studio or internal marketing department of related category
