Our client is currently seeking Account Directors for multiple opportunities within their agency. As Account Director, you will maintain primary client relationships at all levels within the client organization and bear ultimate responsibility for client satisfaction, agency deliverables and overall business profitability. You will serve as the leader as you build, mentor and manage a diverse set of teams. With your strong understanding of the competitive landscape, you will consult with existing and potential clients regarding their website, web application, and banner development projects.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Financial Management of account revenue and profitability for the business unit
  • Setting project strategy and goals
  • Focusing on client expectation management; manage and further develop client accounts
  • Use your knowledge of the company's capabilities to meet and exceed client goals while broadening service offerings
  • Build, mentor and manage a diverse group a people to achieve maximum performance
  • Provide overall direction setting for the team


QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years experience managing interactive or internet based projects in an external client interfacing role.
  • Experience working on accounts delivering annual services revenues in excess of $4 MM
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans to attain client objectives and a proven track record of delivery.
  • Experience with budgeting, invoicing and revenue projections.
  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to help develop interactive solutions for global clients.
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines and constraints and able to delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to effectively communicate overall goals and ideas around the account/project.
  • Working knowledge of web design and creative development.
  • Ability to gather requirements and specifications for projects as well as anticipate client needs and offer suggestions for resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and offer career pathing for employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients, internal staff, and the management team.
  • Ability to adapt to client culture.
  • Excellent organizational skills to work both efficiently and effectively.
  • Creativity, latitude, flexibility, and tenacity are required.
  • A dynamic personality and ability to shift modes of operation without compromise.
  • Willing to travel to client meetings and do client-site work as needed.
