Our client is a leader in the telecommunications field and they’ve asked for our help identifying a Accessibility Marketing Manager for a long term contract engagement.

Seeking a marketing professional with project management and campaign execution experience. This is a contract position working to ensure channels are legislatively compliant with government accessibility standards. The role will also be instrumental in driving educational awareness to client's accessibility offering.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing. The responsibilities of the role will include managing all campaign and marketing activity for both external and internal audiences. The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, have strong time management skills and be capable of balancing many projects simultaneously with short deadlines for completion. You must be creative, detail oriented and strategic with the ability to communicate effectively. Prior experience within the accessibility community is an asset.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop quarterly marketing plan to target accessibility groups & evaluate the project’s progress
• Create awareness in the accessibility community through execution of approved marketing plan
• Support site updates
• Support new product and service TTM plans
• Elevate internal awareness of accessibility programs with client's employee base
• Ensure reps have full line of sight to the new accessibility solutions through onboarding integration, training and job aids
• Regular presentations to communications plans and project status updates

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
• University degree in business, marketing, communications or a related area
• Minimum 5 years experience in marketing communications
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing plans
• Exceptional communications skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to build and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Extremely detail oriented and organized
• Excellent time management skills and flexible to work overtime in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build compelling presentations and to deliver communications plan with confidence
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making at various levels of the organization
• Self-starter, with the ability to manage and drive projects with limited supervision and to manage multiple projects in an organized manner
• Fluency in both official languages would be considered an asset
• Prior experience within the accessibility community an asset.
