AV Event Production Project Coordinator

Location: Central London

My client is an exciting, innovative tier 1 technology company based in Central London who are renowned for being a big hitter within their sector. With various different teams and sites covering different regions, they have a functional, collaborative workforce that is unmatched due to the level of talent and cultural diversity within the brand. With all of this in mind, they are currently on the lookout for a AV Event Production Project Co-Ordinator to join their Event Production Engineering team.

Reporting into the Head of AV and working in a team of 3, you’ll be tasked with overseeing and managing the production of event space builds – serving as the point of contact between the Event Production Engineering team and the brand stakeholders deciding on best practice for event spaces and engagement centres. You will be the glue that holds the production process together, arranging site logistics, maintaining SOW’s for AV integrators on equipment as well as tracking event success through project management tools, making sure the process and protocols are followed effectively.

On a day to basis, you’ll be working and focusing on different scale events from Internal events, public facing, celebrity focused events along with global events too so there will be an exceptional level of variation to events you’ll be managing production on. It will be your responsibility to ensure the “integration process” is smooth and seamless for the AV team to build successful event spaces from concept to final delivery therefore you should have a strong understanding/background in AV and the pre-post event process.

This role also involves a great deal of travel as you’ll be covering various different regions so you could be doing site visits/location vetting to the likes of Dublin, Paris & Berlin, ensuring these sites are prepared for AV installation and are appropriately sized for event delivery as well, so it is crucial you have really strong attention to detail and a knack for spotting brilliant event spaces that will benefit AV teams.

Must Haves

  • 3+ years’ experience in AV integration and Project Co-Ordination  
  • Familiarity with Google Applications (Sheets, Docs & Slides)
  • Strong collaboration and client management skills
  • Experience assessing and understanding effective event spaces
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively on projects
  • Happy to travel (60% London based, 40% travel)
  • Experience using Project Management tools (Workfront advantageous)
  • Understanding of advantages and disadvantages that constitute to the AV process
