LOCATION: NEW YORK, NY

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL ASSOCIATE GLOBAL PRODUCTION MANAGER WITH EXPERIENCE IN WOMEN’S DENIM **

RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Communicating and executing brand product strategies in partnership with the fabric strategy team
• Coordinate the activities of the development, sampling, and bulk execution which supports Design’s vision while meeting or exceeding financial goals
• Understand divisional goals and work with team on execution of strategies
• Understand seasonal AUC targets, raw material guidelines, and fabric strategies on a seasonal basis with supervisor
• Adhere to UC targets and material costing guidance sheet that enable production teams to guide design in developing product into good, better best pricing architecture by department
• Minimize and bring resolution to financial liabilities by presenting recommendations to supervisor and cross functional partners
• Ensure product meets all brand filters, design aesthetic, quality and financial goals
• Support execution of Category Sourcing Strategies
• Adhere to, and execute brand pipeline calendars and checklists
• Understand design’s aesthetic requirements and collaborate with GIS and Product Integrity to ensure sample development meets the brand goals for quality and aesthetic while meeting AUC targets
• Monitor seasonal development meet line plan needs and development metrics
• Execute fabric/product strategies that leverage the category across the brand and company
• Partner with leadership to leverage technical knowledge and support to troubleshoot and resolve issues that are unique in nature and may require novel approach
• Work with cross functional teams to deliver costing guidance that informs if the line plan needs are met
• Execute exception booking process
• Order all sample fabric, trims, and styles for key milestone meetings by calendar deadlines
• Monitor on-time delivery of samples for milestone meetings and report style level status and specifics to cross functional teams
• Ensure costing accuracy in ACP
• Participate in pre-class process
• Review style tracker requests and adherence of cross functional teams to style tracker process
• Communicate fabric, style, sb and bas bookings and order confirmation
• Communicate with GIS to understand production execution issues and provide support in resolving them in a timely manner
• Communicate with Global and Regional Merchandising and Regional Inventory Management to solve production execution issues including late or short shipments
• Work with supervisor, Global Design and Global Merchandising on resolving Product Integrity, or Safety issues
• Work with supervisor, Global Design and Global Merchandising on aesthetic execution issues
• Understand and influence cross functional peers to maintain quality attributes for a category
• Demonstrate use and knowledge of vendor handbook, product safety manual and training and product integrity technical bulletins

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 – 4 years of Production or Manufacturing experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and web-based applications
• Detail oriented with strong follow through; Organize and prioritize multiple projects
• PLM experience
• Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks
• Demonstrate proactive problem solving skills
• Influence others; negotiation skills
• Ability to react to change
• Make effective presentations
