The Supply Chain Operations Analyst supports Supply Chain Operations through daily execution. The Analyst will have keen attention to detail, be highly self motivated, and have mature and professional communication skills. They will also need to be an expert at multi-tasking, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and employ exceptional time management skills. The ideal candidate also should be comfortable with issue management, Supply Chain cross functional communication and engagement, work well in a team environment, and have passion and excitement about solving problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Operations Analysts support Inventory Strategy & Optimization, or Project Support & Data Analysis.
While there is cross training within the team, Analysts will primarily focused on Project Leadership & Data Analysis, with potential Merch Ops.

They will need:
• Ability to highlight trends in reporting to highlight to Leader and eventually larger distribution list.
• Ability to lead a meeting and ensure key objectives are addressed
• Ongoing transfer analysis to support Inventory and Supply Chain teams

Merchandising Operations
• Maintains data health throughout entire SKU lifecycle which includes: initial SKU setup, auditing of multiple systems, daily / weekly SKU dashboard review, cost and pricing maintenance. This specialized role also includes the management of updates to vendor records, change submissions, and off-cycle assessments and cleanup projects.
• Works closely with Merchandising to obtain, audit, & manage data.
• Works closely with IT to identify and troubleshoot data systems issues.
• Analyzes and loads large amounts of data.
• Performs daily and weekly database audits to ensure alignment across multiple channels and systems.

Project Leadership & Data Analysis
• Investigates problems, identifies root cause, identifies and develops solutions to enhance and improve the organization.
• Removes obstacles and simplifies current business processes.
• Supports creation of end-to-end business process mapping.
• Supports process improvement and issue management.
• Supports Supply Chain cross-functional communication though use of existing tools or developing better ones.
• Supports Quality Assurance issues management and returns hypothesis reporting through data gathering and analysis.
• Analyzes trends in vendor non-compliance and product quality issues through data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
• Support Inventory Strategy group with daily and weekly reporting needs, actualization of transfer volumes, and Capacity views.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service approach.

Technical Expertise:
• Strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project skills are important; a comfort level with MS Access is a plus.
• Familiarity with AS/400 platform a plus.
• Familiarity and comfort level with Mac OS a plus.
• Basic understanding of SKU and systems interface architecture a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• One to three years of business analysis or Supply Chain experience, preferably in a retail, distribution, or a consumer packaged goods organization.
