ROLE:
Our client is the Experiential Agency of Record (AOR) for a global ultra-luxury automotive brand. Client is seeking an Account Director to serve as the main contact and lead account person responsible for overseeing all areas of the client-agency relationship.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Build and execute a successful experiential marketing program with 100+ events per year (eg. new vehicle launches, ride & drives, dealer events, loaner programs, product showcases, regional & national road tours, marquee event productions, and more)
 Understand client’s core objectives and priorities and ensure everything we do as an agency ties back to overall brand strategy
 Collaborate with both internal (i.e., account, strategy, creative) and external (i.e., client, vendors) teams
 Implement tracking methods to ensure agency is meeting key milestones and performance is consistent with
expectations
 Manage budget and negotiate cost savings without compromising brand identity
 Coordinate hiring and management of 8-10 product specialists
 Develop marketing strategy decks, documents, emails and proposals
 Manage direct reports – both account management and production
 Foster and grow client relationship
 Ensure agency is delivering according to expectations
 Represent the “CLIENT WAY” by incorporating core values into client-agency responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
 Background in automotive industry or automotive agency, preferably in events/experiential role
 Experiential marketing, project management, client management and event production experience
 Knowledge of strategy, operations/logistics, communications, and CRM
 Ability to execute experiential programming
 Experience working with and serving high-net worth individuals and brands
 Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with limited executive involvement
 Strong leadership presence and interpersonal skills
o Professional, flexible, proactive, resourceful
o Excellent written and verbal communication
o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
 4-year college degree
 8-12 years of work experience
 5-6 years of agency experience
