Department: News & Sports News

Our client, a huge broadcasting company based in West London currently has a pool of around 5 freelancers but needs to increase this team by adding 4 new freelancers to it.

Within the team the work is exciting, very family oriented and a busy environment to work in.

The end clients that you will be dealing with can be demanding and at times this client can sometimes be a very busy place to work in. However, it is also fun too where you have the opportunity to learn lots and work for a great brand.

Candidates must have an awareness of full 360 campaigns, cross platforms and should have had exposure to digital, as they will be working closely with the Web teams.

Strong design and typographical skills, not just operational skills will be a huge bonus. A full and expert grasp of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Cinema 4D is the minimum needed.

We are looking for candidates who have excellent Motion Graphics experience or who have come up through a print background and have then moved into Motion Graphics.

** The work will be in shifts:

News starts 7 am, 8.30 am, 12.30 pm and 10.30 pm – 11 hour shifts.

Sports starts at 5 am or 2.30 pm (weekdays) 5.30 am or 2.30 pm (weekends) - 10 hour shifts **

A knowledge of sport will help on the editorial side but it is not necessary, the client will always take a strong designer that is not into football over an average one that does.

If you are interested in the role then please get in touch with me as soon as possible with your CV and showreel.
** YOUR SHOWREEL will need to be edited well and to music. Typically lasting around a minute / minute and a half but length is not too important. Is also good if you also have a thumbnail list of your work that the client can click into to get a better overview of what you can do, but this is not a must have. **
