We need 3 freelance Senior Planners and 2 full time 'mid weight' Planners. All to be Intigrated Planners

General job spec below:


• Key member of the communications planning discipline
• Deliver strategic planning for the agencies clients with core responsibility brands
• Identify and unlock insights from consumer segments and for researching ideas, concepts and prototypes
• Provide on-going analysis and insight into our clients’ business models, organisational structures, marketplaces, brands and target audiences
• Create and develop communications propositions, user journey’s, strategies and plans for advertising campaigns and the CRM lifecycle communications across all channels including Radio, OOH, Press, Digital, Direct Mail, Retail and Experiential.
• Inspire creative teams to innovation and high quality creative thinking
• Build and maintain senior client relationships and work with Client Services to create and close new business opportunities.
• Work with the Planning Director to support the management, development and training within the department as well as directly manage any Junior Planner direct reports.
• Manage the quality of creative briefings to continually improve the consistency and inspirational nature of the planning team output
• Manage your workload to ensure that all client retainers, projects and campaign needs are met.
• Develop thought leadership in specific areas of expertise (TBA) and represent the Planning team in publications and at events
• Develop and maintain academic and industry relationships to support the recruitment and development of planning talent and new ways of thinking and working
• Contribute to and provide strategic leadership in pitch presentations for new business
• Support the Executive Planning Director and other members of the Strategy and Planning team in the delivery of strategies for client projects and campaigns
• Identify R&D opportunities and projects that can fuel innovation

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Traditional and digital planning practices, techniques, theories and methodologies
• Contemporary and experimental communications planning for innovative and successful integrated marketing
• Consumer behaviour and attitudes to media and technology, and views on the cultural and commercial implications therein
• Understanding the digital marketing landscape and how brands engage with consumers through digital channels
• The integrated communications planning process: from a client brief to development of a creative concept and lay down of a media plan
• Emerging media spaces including social, mobile, IPTV, outdoor and experiential
• Multiple industries and sectors including Retail, FMCG, Financial Services, Travel, Telecoms and Construction.
• Advanced research methodologies, resources and tools for insight development
• Measurement and evaluation frameworks and tools

Experience:

• An agency environment
• Supported award-winning communications campaigns
• Led, created and delivered integrated strategies for high-profile brands
• Worked closely with creative teams and creative directors to evolve planning processes and deliver new, innovative integrated marketing solutions
• Ideally Pan-European communications planning experience
• Managed and developed talent in communications planning
• Established top-table planning influence in an integrated interagency planning and account team
• Established and maintained fruitful relationships with c-suite marketing clients in high-profile brands
